Is FaceTite As Effective as More Invasive Procedures?

One of the most notable signs of aging that affect the appearance of our faces is the loss of collagen and elastin in our skin. As your body produces less of these substances, your skin begins to lose its elasticity and ability to rebound. Over time, this can lead to sagging skin and sunken areas of lost volume.

A facelift is a surgical procedure that can restore the skin and give it a tighter and more toned look. However, this surgical procedure is considered somewhat invasive, and given the extent of the incisions needed for many types of facelifts, there is a chance of visible scarring.

Many minimally-invasive treatments that use dermal injectables and fillers are also very effective at helping to restore a more youthful appearance. Although most of these require no downtime or recovery, the results are often temporary, and treatments must be repeated to keep the same look.

The FaceTite procedure can provide nearly the same aesthetic improvements as the surgical facelift but with a recovery much closer to dermal injectables and fillers. The procedure can be completed under local anesthesia and comes with much less risk than the traditional facelift.

During the short procedure, the doctor will use a small wand inserted through a tiny incision on your skin. The wand uses radio-frequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to safely melt the target fat cells to make them easier to remove through the suction of the want. Where some treatments only destroy the cells, the RFAL process permanently removes them from your body.

FaceTite is useful in the face with sagging skin, such as the neck and chin area. For areas with more significant fat cells, it can also be combined with liposuction.
