Juvederm® has very few side effects. Some patients may experience redness or swelling at the injection site which can last for a few days. Nevertheless, work and other normal activities can be resumed right after treatment. What sets Juvederm Voluma apart is its longevity and indication for mid-face volume loss. In clinical trials, it was shown to last up to two years which is a potential benefit for patients that don’t want frequent repeat injections.
