COVID-19 Testing Policy

You are strongly encouraged to be up-to-date with your vaccine status and use protective measures (masking, self-isolation) in the days leading up to your surgery. Please notify your surgical coordinator should you experience illness prior to surgery. You will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to surgery and a rapid test will be performed, if needed.

Office Cancellation/No Show Policy

Your appointments are very important to the members of the Somenek+Pittman MD and S+P Med Spa team. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request you provide us 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Appointments/Consultations that are cancelled or rescheduled within 24-hours will forfeit any scheduling fee paid and require a $150 deposit to be rescheduled.  Failure to attend your scheduled appointment also results in a forfeit of your $150 scheduling fee.

S+P MedSpa Cancellation/No Show Policy

A credit card is required to book any appointment for the S+P MedSpa. Your credit card is used to reserve your appointment and will be stored on file for our cancellation policy purposes.

We kindly request that cancellations or changes to appointments be made 48 hours in advance.

All appointments that are cancelled or changed within 48-hours will be charged a non-refundable $150 cancellation fee or a fee equal to 50% of the treatment, whichever is greater.  Similarly, failure to attend your appointment will result in a $150 charge or a full charge for the missed treatment, whichever is greater.

Running Late

Please contact the office if you are running late to an appointment. Timing is everything at a busy practice and our appointments on the schedule are carefully planned.  Tardiness for your appointment may require the appointment to be rescheduled and will forfeit a refund of any deposit/scheduling fee paid.

Health Insurance

Please note that our practice does not participate with any health insurance program. While we are happy to provide you a receipt for the total cost paid, as well as other appropriate documentation, there should be no expectation that you will receive insurance reimbursement. Additionally, our practice will not communicate directly with your insurance carrier at any time.
