Front Office Coordinator / Practice Concierge

Recruiting a team member with a dynamic, energetic, and outgoing personality, as well as a strong background in sales and customer service. This individual also must have the drive, organization, and determination to meet goals, and be accustomed to going above and beyond what patients expect.

The successful candidate will be responsible for speaking with all new patients on the phone, explaining procedures, answering questions, providing guidance, acting as liaison between surgeon and patient, promoting surgeon and surgical results, collecting fees, interfacing with patients and their families from the initial phone call through surgery completed, paying close attention to the details of the entire patient experience, encouraging reviews and participating in practice marketing.

Candidates must have a professional presentation that is representative of our upscale practice, be highly motivated, and work well individually, as well as in a team environment. We are looking for an individual with long-term potential who wants to grow and expand with the company.

Must Have Criteria:

-Proven record of excellence in customer service and sales . Only candidates with customer service or sales experience will be considered. Experience in medical office sales in the areas of Plastic Surgery, Cosmetic Dentistry or Dermatology will be given preferential consideration, but we are willing to train the right person.

-Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to make an outstanding first impression

-Efficient and able to prioritize tasks

-Punctual and reliable attendance

-Extremely detail oriented

-Consistent with organization and follow-up

-Computer proficient (able to easily use Word, Excel, and electronic medical record software)

-Reliable transportation to and from Washington DC

-Consent to a pre-employment background check

Clinical Assistant

Recruiting an energetic and motivated individual to join the team as a Certified Medical Assistant. Experience in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology Required

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
  • Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
  • Maintains medical supplies inventory and performing preventive maintenance to keep medical equipment operating.
  • Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary history, taking patient photographs and reporting patient history summary.
  • Saves doctors’ time by helping with office procedures and acting as a chaperone for the doctors.
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and IV placement.
  • Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records and keeping patient information confidential.
  • Counsels patients by transmitting physician’s orders and questions about surgery.
  • Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and calling for repairs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements. Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

The successful candidate should possess, or be eligible for, Certification as a Medical Assistant and should have experience in Plastic Surgery, Surgical Subspecialty or Dermatology. Candidates without appropriate experience will not be considered.
