Patient Case #4741

Case Details

Procedure: Rhinoplasty

Surgeon: Dr. Somenek

Description: Patient had a severely deviated nose and could not breath through one side of his nose. He has deviated nasal bones as well as a severely deviated nasal septum. After performing a complex septorhinoplasty, his nose is much straighter and he can breath perfectly through both sides of his nose. Dr. Somenek uses cartilage to reconstruct areas of the nose that require an increase in the strength and support. In this case, cartilage from the nasal septum was used to completely reconstruct the nasal tip so that it could be more symmetric and in the midline of his face.
