Case Details
Procedure: Rhinoplasty
Surgeon: Dr. Somenek
Description: Patient had a dorsal hump on her nose that she did not like and wanted to improve the appearance of her profile. Additionally, on her frontal view, she had a very wide nasal tip that lacked shaped. Utilizing a variety of suture techniques to reshape the nasal tip and a dorsal hump reduction, she now has a refined appearance to the nose that is more proportionate with the rest of her facial features. Techniques used were cephalic trims to decrease the nasal tip bulk and interdomal sutures to create the tip defining points. A dorsal hump reduction removing a combination of cartilage and bone was needed to improve the profile.
