Liquid Facelift

A liquid facelift contains fillers such as hyaluronic acid (HA), poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), fat, or calcium hydroxyapatite. Hyaluronic acid is the most common type of filler, a substance naturally present in the human body that attracts water, thereby allowing the skin to become more hydrated. HA’s effects can last up to 6-12 months and are entirely reversible, while collagen and fat fillers temporarily treat wrinkles and scars. PLLA fillers stimulate collagen production; their effects can last up to 24 months, while calcium hydroxyapatite fillers can last 12 months.

Additionally, Botox or Dysport is used to relax the wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and between the eyebrows.

The injectables we use contain numbing agents to help enhance your comfort during the procedure. We can also apply a topical anesthetic to minimize any sensitivity. Most of our patients describe the pain as a slight pinch or pressure, rather than a sharp pain.
