Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Troy Pittman will dress the surgical incisions immediately following the conclusion of the procedure; these dressings must remain in place for a minimum of three days. A degree of pain or discomfort is expected but can be managed with pain medicine prescribed to you by Dr. Pittman.
You will experience swelling in the region for the first four to six weeks, but this should gradually subside with time. If you experience anything concerning, contact Dr. Pittman to schedule a follow-up exam.
